Ductile Pte Ltd was established in 1979 and privatised in 1982. Since then, the Company has played a major and active role in the water, gas and sewerage industry as we equipped ourselves with the supply of Ductile Iron Pipes & Fittings, Steel Pipes, Copper Pipes and other products in tune to the market requirements and demand.For 15 years, we have good track records in supplying to the Singapore Government Projects and notably, the Public Utilities Board (PUB), Ministry of Environment (MOE) and the Housing & Development Board (HDB).In 1986, we entered into a joint venture alliance with a casting foundry in China to manufacture and produce Ductile Iron Fittings and Manhole Covers. This is a strategic step towards being more competitive and efficient. The Fittings and Covers are tested by the Singapore Productivity & Standards Board (PSB) and certify the quality conforms to the global standard of ISO2531, BS4772 and EN545.ISO 9002Attaining accreditation for ISO9002 in 1994 - the global stamp of recognition for consistent good work proved to be a milestone in our Company history. The standard met the requirements of Government procurement contracts, which are generally based on the National and International Standards.The most obvious benefits that our customer receives are higher quality products. The standards also established a clear benchmark on specifications and expectations on our customers and suppliers. The achievement of ISO9002 leads to greater demand for the goods and services of Ductile Pte Ltd.With relocation to a larger premise, the company was able to carry more stocks to meet the increasing demand and delivery of goods in shorter lead-time. A further advantage was the inclusion of a workshop with facilities to cut and flange pipes to meet customised requirements.Having established to foothold in the local arena and equipped with standards that enable greater market assess; Ductile Pte Ltd has ventured regionally, commonly supplying products to countries namely, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Morocco, Malaysia, Brunei, The Sultanate of Oman, Jordan and many others.Our Subsidiary Companies Are:1. D-Line Tpt & Trading Pte Ltd This company is involved in the trading of garden furniture and accessories, plastic grating and rubbish chutes for construction purposes. 3. Xunda Industries Pte Ltd This company specializes in plastic manufacturing such as plastic grating, PVC fittings, cable ties etc. 4. Xunda Building Materials Trading Co This company deals with import & export on all kinds of hardware and building materials in China.
